Do I need to pack a lunch for my child?
Yes pack a lunch, nothing that has to be refrigerated. Lunch items should be easy for the child to eat, and by that we mean, be very mindful of choking hazards, grapes should be halved, hot dogs should be cut into small pieces. Lunchables, in particular (though a child requested favorite) can be choking hazards: meats and cheeses need to be quartered. We will stress nutrition, so proteins and fruit before sweet treats/candy.
What recreation is available?
Group games offer a fantastic opportunity to connect. We play a variety of games like Volleyball, Kickball, Basketball, Pickleball, 9 Square in the Air, Cornhole, Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Capture the Flag, Soccer, Pool, and Ping Pong.
What should I bring?
Every time we gather, we will learn from God’s Word. We encourage everyone to bring a Bible, a notebook, and a pen. For those who do not bring a Bible, we have some available to borrow.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! We welcome students who do not attend Denver Baptist Church and those who are not Christians.
It's my first time @ RECHARGE...where do I go?
When you arrive on the West Campus, beside Rock Springs Elementary School, look for the blue tent in the parking lot! If there is inclement weather, come upstairs. In either case, a team member will be ready to welcome you!
Who do I contact for more info?
Josh Cody is our Student Pastor and he would love to hear from you! Email him at jcody@denverbaptist.org!
